The Pelly River Ranch Road is now passable once again, thanks to the combined efforts in particular of Boreal Engineering, which supplied critical equipment, and Dale Bradley who contributed hours of labour.

This road is a great benefit to many Yukoners and visitors, including: The 150 guests who recently visited Fort Selkirk on Parks Day; Wildland Fire Services, which uses the road to do their critical work; Selkirk First Nation’s heritage crew, and many locals accessing fish camps and cottages; adventurers and other tourists using the road to enter Yukon’s wilderness; and last but not least, Yukon’s oldest continuous farm, which relies on the road to connect their fantastic eggs and beef with lucky customers.

On behalf of the many grateful users of the Pelly River Ranch Road, thank you for stepping up with your equipment and time to keep the road functional. Your efforts benefit a much larger community!
