It’s easy to see why it now takes twice as long as before to get anything done at Motor Vehicles Branch. Instead of efficient, short lines for each service, now there are one or two workers at service cubicles, while the majority of employees can be seen loitering about and socializing in the open office space.
If there are more than one or two clients waiting to be served then all four service cubicles should be staffed, even if it means supervisors actually having to do some work. As well, there should be some sort of “express line” for those who have simple needs like renewing vehicle registration.
