Police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in a break and enter at the Whitehorse Ramada Inn.
Whitehorse RCMP received 911 calls on Sept. 1 at approximately 10 p.m. The man is accused of breaking into a room at the hotel and stealing a phone and a MP3 player.
Whitehorse RCMP Const. Dean Hoogland, said the suspect snuck in behind a person who had just unlocked the door with a key.
He managed to get away before police arrived. A police services dog was called in, but the man was not found.
RCMP have released a still from video footage.
Anyone who recognizes the man and who has any information about the break-in is asked to call Whitehorse RCMP at 867-667-5551.
